The first Flippin' Out for Student Builders Pancake Supper was in 2010, and it's success funded scholarships for hard-working Student Builders selected from a diverse group of applicants from the Ann Arbor area.

THE 2010 PANCAKE SUPPER FUNDRAISER
The well attended "Flippin’ Out for Student Builders Pancake Dinner" was a fundraising event held November 30, 2010 designed to improve awareness of the Ann Arbor Student Building Industry Program and to provide scholarship opportunities for students who wish to attend college in a construction related field of study. The Pancake Dinner was very successful with an approximate profit of $2,700.00 for the Scholarship Fund.

Beginning Celebration

In September of 2005, the Ann Arbor Student Building Industry Program kicked off their brand new development, Sumerset Neighborhood with a Beginning CelebrationSumerset Neighborhood is a development of 11 home sites to be built by the students of the Ann Arbor Public Schools Student Building Industry Program over the next decade. These houses are providing attractive homes in a lovely setting as well as providing an opportunity for students to gain practical experience in the residential construction industry.
